RISK OF LOSS
All items purchased from Beehavin’ Apiary are made FOB destination. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier, or to you when you pick up the item.

Honey bees and queens are live insects whose care is in your hands when you receive them. We do not warranty live bees once they are in your hands! You must inspect your queen, package and nuc at the time you receive it from Beehavin’ Apiary. Once you take ownership of the queen, package or nuc, it is up to you to ensure that they are transferred to their new home as quickly as possible and that their new home is sound, protects them from the weather, and is free of contamination of any sort. While the bees or queen is in our packaging it is your responsibility to ensure they are protected from cold, heat, sun, weather, water, insecticides and other things which may kill them. You should be aware that most losses come from leaving the bees in an automobile (long rides home from the apiary included), hot garage, and from placing them in freshly painted equipment that hasn’t had time to air out. However, other handling losses also occur and we can’t be responsible for them. This is especially true for new queen introductions. You must ensure that you remove all queens (multiple queens in one hive are more common than most beekeepers think) from the hive to be re-queened and that you follow good introduction practices.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS
Beehavin’ Apiary attempts to be as accurate as possible. If a product is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.
