Apistan strips are used to control Varroa mite. Insert one strip per five frames of brood. Placement should be at the edge of the cluster typically in positions 2/3 and 7/8. The mite has develpped resistance in some regions. Be sure to perform mite counts before and after using Apistan. Sold as individual strips.
